About Us
We are The Sam Lewis Band. A professional wedding & party band based in Hertfordshire in the South-East of England, UK. We offer excellent live music to cater for a whole host of weddings, parties and other occasions. Having performed alongside some of the music industry's greats such as Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, Noel Gallagher and Ed Sheeran, our experience and party know-how is second to none!
We've built our reputation over the last 10 years by working closely with some wonderful wedding venues in Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire including, The Priory in Little Wymondley, The Barns at Redcoats, South Farm, Sheene Mill, The Kings Chapel in Amersham, Milling Barn in Buntingford and Shortmead House in Biggleswade to name a few.
We are one of Hertfordshire's busiest wedding and party bands and perform at 50-100 weddings per year. As the front-man, I can perform live (solo and acoustic) at the ceremony and reception drinks before bringing in my band for the evening AND DJing in between the live sets. My guarantee to you is that when you book The Sam Lewis Band, I (Sam Lewis) will always be the front-man for the band at your special occasion.

Our ALL-DAY wedding and party solution features music throughout the entire day. You can sit back and relax right from the point of booking us knowing all of the entertainment for the day is arranged. 90% of our couples and clients book this as it guarantees quality and provides simplicity and value for money.

**** I will coordinate photographs, usher guests into the barn for the wedding breakfast, welcome you into the room as a married couple and introduce the speeches.

Lineup
We are a 3-piece rock/pop covers band consisting of guitar/vocals, bass/vocals & drums.
​
Attention To Detail
We offer a professional, friendly and completely bespoke service. We are polite, punctual and flexible and with your guidance, we can provide a complete ALL-DAY music solution which 95% of our couples and clients book.
​
Equipment & Certificates
We carry all necessary A.V. equipment including P.A. System (subs and tops as and when required), radio microphones, lighting, DJ controller (DJ booth where required) and electric drums if the venue requires it. All equipment is P.A.T. certified and we carry £5M public liability insurance.

Recording & Social Media
With your permission, we will record our performances and publish the highlights on social media. Obviously this helps with our profile and reach but it's also there as a permanent reminder of your special occasion.
​
Timings & Duration
The band usually performs two 60 minute sets and I will DJ in between these. As a guide; you'll cut the cake and have your first dance at approximately 7.45pm. We'll then perform between 8pm and 9pm. Evening food will be served at 9pm during which time I'll play some background music. We'll perform another set from 10pm until 11pm and then I'll DJ for the final hour.
Complimentary Disco
All evening performances include a complimentary, professional disco to keep your guests entertained in between the live band sets. You're welcome to compile your own playlist on your iPod, iPad, iPhone or computer or simply make a few suggestions and leave it to the expert!

Guitar/DJ
If the band isn't for you or it's a little over budget, I can perform solo throughout the day, undertake toastmaster responsibilities and then DJ in the evening. With 1000+ performances under my belt and having supported some of the music industry's greats including Ed Sheeran and Noel Gallagher, my experience and party know-how is second to none!

When We're Already Booked
When I and/or the band are already booked, I'll be happy to help find you an alternative in the same price bracket. I'll even take care of all of the paperwork for you too. Rest assured, I only book bands, artists and DJs that I know personally. Check out the agency page for some of the acts I manage.
