The Sam Lewis Band is one of Hertfordshire's busiest wedding bands performing at 50-100 weddings per year. We have worked closely with the team at Sheene Mill for a few years now offering the acoustic cocktail band and full electric band to some wonderful brides and grooms. Our acoustic outfit is perfect for small weddings in the conservatory whilst our electric lineup, including a Yamaha DTX 700 electric drum kit is perfect for the main function room.

Our ALL-DAY wedding and party solution features music throughout the entire day. It means you can sit back and relax right from the point of booking us knowing all of the entertainment for the day is arranged.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
The Ceremony

* a solo performance is included. An acoustic band performance is subject to an additional cost.
** this can be completely bespoke. Simply send me a Spotify playlist and I will cue the music up for you.
*** this is conditional on the P.A. system being set up in advance of the ceremony. The Barns at Redcoats have an in-house radio microphone too.
**** I am happy to coordinate photographs where required, usher guests into the barn for the wedding breakfast, welcome you into the room as a married couple and introduce the speeches.

Sam was there from the beginning to play the ceremony music and to entertain the guests between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast. He did a great interactive rendition of the 'Wheels on the Bus' for the kids to help them relax into the photos.
Later he had the challenge of enticing people on to the dance floor from the gorgeous summer evening outside. Needless to say he managed it. The dance floor was packed and he played all the right tunes.
He is full of helpful tips and advice, and since he had worked with Sheene Mill (our gorgeous venue), he new all the requirements.
I couldn’t recommend Sam and his band enough. Not only is he professional and really good at his job, but he is also genuinely a really nice guy.

Suppliers
It's important to book the right suppliers for the job. Preferred/Recommended suppliers are usually selected by the venue as their respective brands work well together. Sheene Mill has a list of suppliers that they work closely with. We've thoroughly enjoyed working with photographers Scott Gilbert, Adam Cash, Elizabeth Keates and Alison Jenkins to name a few. They're all very different and all very good.
The combination of suppliers that know each other is often overlooked yet can make a huge difference to your big day. Communication between suppliers and the venue means the itinerary can run to schedule and your guests are never left waiting.
